We offer two appointment types to meet your needs, whether you are new to DSS, updating your accommodations, or have questions.
These options are available to select in the Accommodate Portal when requesting a new appointment.

DSS Accommodation Meeting
This type of appointment occurs after a student has registered with the DSS office and provided sufficient documentation relating to their accommodation request.
The meeting duration will be determined in the email from the DSS Specialist.
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss specific accommodations based on the needs and lived experiences of the student. Each plan is individualized, and accommodations are determined on a case-by-case basis.

Student-Requested Meeting
This type of appointment may be requested at any time if you:
- Believe there might be additional accommodations or changes to your accommodations are necessary
- Have an additional diagnosis or modification to your disability
- Are preparing for a future surgery/procedure that will require accommodations
When requesting, please provide information in the Notes section for our DSS Specialists to determine if forms are necessary before your visit.
